Indeed it is
clear that in PI there is absolutely no excuse on ignorance. Max you can say
that “I am sorry I am not aware of” But that will open Pandora box of new and volley
of lethal questions from PI selection panel.
If the area
of question is from domain knowledge of subject then it is for sure that
rejection will follow but on the contrary if questions are of general nature
then if not sure, you can positively be on tone of admitting not knowing but better would be to
supplement the willingness to learn the same in future.
Mind it,
such a general advice likes above is also ignored many a times by all of us. We
continue to sustain our own mind set which is injurious thus need to be
changed. PI is also a test of reading and observing positive mind set of the candidate.
Work it out
and be successful in PI.
