No one is perfect and interviewers are aware of this fact. You may be a fresh graduate or a professional with a few years of work experience, but you are still relatively new to the business world. So, an interviewer will not penalize you if you do not answer all the questions as per the expectations. 

During the Personal Interview, you should show eagerness to learn. You are entering a business school to learn new things. So, you should be humble during the Personal Interview.

Most of the business schools look for students who are good in both studies and extracurricular activities. However, if you have not participated in many activities, be honest and tell the interviewer the reason for not doing so. 

If you did not have sufficient time during college days to participate in activities, inform the interviewer that you would like to improve your time management skills while pursuing an MBA. This shows that you are aware of your weaknesses and are keen on improving upon them. 

Be yourself during the Personal Interview and answer all the questions honestly. As a potential candidate for the business school, the interviewer expects you to show humility.

Perseverance is the only solution

After having worked hard then reworked on failures thereby again worked on gaps to attain goal is called perseverance. 

It is continuity to take forward the passionate way adopted by an individual for the fulfillment of planned project. 

Not easy to crack or follow the hard way of long journey which many a time proves to be mirage. Need of the hour is to be bold to accept the only way of thorny perseverance and not succumbing to defeat. 

New mistakes are good teacher, no issue; carry on with learning. Repeated blunders will lead to disaster whereas new ideas enchased earlier will keep your head high. 

Well tested and tried phenomenon of perseverance is DNA of successful personality and this breed is not short of ideas to supplement unheard new dimensions to any challenge. Perhaps perseverance is the only solution to many a failures which went unchallenged by any individual.

Refrain from blaming luck for your failure

I am not lucky, I belong to poor family, I could not afford higher studies, if at that time I could have got the guidance I would have also raised. These all are lame excuses.

We must refrain ourselves not only to narrate but to think like that. Blaming luck is wastage of time & energy as others will not take the point and chances are high that it may turn out to be inferiority complex which is injurious all the way. 

Equation in any case has changed & it is now 90:10 that is hard work followed by luck. After having worked or executed as per plan, whatever are left over chances based on hard work can be termed as luck. 

MBA aspirants who wish to clear CAT can’t afford to think in any term other than well planned preparation.

Be objective about failure and find out reasons

It is rightly said that failures create new opportunities. Impossible says I am possible. Likewise many motivational adages can be found but it is certain that those who accepted failures gracefully have come back with new aggression and had been winners.

Reasoning is to find objectivity in failure and faux pas for not accepting it. Who did not fail? Gandhi, Faraday, Archimedes, Edison and off late space projects even. 

The more detailed operation of finding reasons of failure is done, that definitely compels one to accept and come up with new dimensions. 

Many comeback stories can be read and absorbed but with nil exception to the golden rule that none of the failure lost heart and most of them vowed to do so differently and that lead them become legendary in this competitive world.
