Take time off; try something new

Monotony will definitely creep in while doing job or project in monotonous way. That’s the attitudinal problem and needs immediate action plan to rectify. 

Interest and enjoyment are almost synonyms in regard to job on hand and it may be even exam preparation. If will power is lacking or interest is losing that means that we have followed others without putting our own thinking behind the project or preparation. 

Once we are clear then we need to shun previous shortcomings and rejuvenate yourself with fresh ideas. 

Take time off; try something new as that will help you to get new and freshness in your ideas.

If you are MBA aspirant then read some books on literature, religion,arts,social sciences while reading beyond text books, you will develop different horizon.

Avoid self Pity

This is the worst you can do to yourself. Situations may come wherein you might feel that if you would have done this or that, things could have been different. Mind it there are many ifs and buts.

Do not shut yourself off from the outside world. Continue to discuss with friends and peers alike and look forward to genuine comments so that failures can be worked upon. 

Having remorse is different than taking on failures head on and taking vow to reconstruct and come back with full force. That’s the way of winner and most of the successful personalities have adopted this basic only. 

Look at our own Yuvraj Singh. He not only came back but never gave any inkling to hide his cancer suffering and took so boldly that today he is as sought cricketer of Indian Team as he was earlier.

Ignorance is no excuse

Indeed it is clear that in PI there is absolutely no excuse on ignorance. Max you can say that “I am sorry I am not aware of” But that will open Pandora box of new and volley of lethal questions from PI selection panel. 

If the area of question is from domain knowledge of subject then it is for sure that rejection will follow but on the contrary if questions are of general nature then if not sure, you can positively be on tone of  admitting not knowing but better would be to supplement the willingness to learn the same in future.

Mind it, such a general advice likes above is also ignored many a times by all of us. We continue to sustain our own mind set which is injurious thus need to be changed. PI is also a test of reading and observing   positive mind set of the candidate.

Work it out and be successful in PI.

I want to be CEO in next 5 years

So what even if it Sound big? But one is certain that some thoughts of achieving high are getting inborn. 

Now it is revised adage that you co go ahead with day dreaming but actions must be supplemented towards fulfillment of that dream. 

During PI when you claim to nourish that dream of becoming CEO, mind it you have onus on you to explain further that how you are planning and what your actions which will lead you to achieve your mission.

Once planned then execute with passion. You must have goal in front and attaining this you must develop a clear obsession.

Don’t force yourself but enjoy moments of journey. Learn from failures and rework on them to gain more successes.

Surely, you will be able to write success story one day soon and that will be your celebrating day of becoming master of situations. That is the eligibility of declaring you as CEO. Go and get it!

Your will power is your prerogative

Indeed, you own and are responsible for your own will power. Onus is on you to sustain in high spirits or feel left over. 

Both successes and failures are bound to come and go, that’s the way of life and career. 

Those who work on failures and take the pluses forward are bound to be winners. It is not sprint rather it is marathon and you will have to be on top consistently.

You will have to revisit basics, unlearn first and then to learn to apply new learning suitable to newer situation. Take cue from god of cricket as he almost set an example to play in domestic tournaments and ready to fire again and give befitting reply to brand Sachin Tendulkar.
