The Personal Interview is
the last step of the selection process for an MBA admission. So, make the most
of it by preparing well for it. Remember that you don’t get a second chance if
you don’t perform well in the Personal Interview.
So, go through the list of
‘Dos and Don’ts’ carefully and exude confidence and enthusiasm during the
interview. Ensure that you arrive at the interview room at least 10 minutes
before your interview. And dress appropriately for the interview. According to
Forbes, you only have seven seconds to make a good and a lasting impression.
And in the first seven seconds, an interviewer will judge you based on your
handshake, eye contact, and confidence level.
Either have a mock
interview session with your peers or practice before a mirror before going into
the interview room. As the saying goes, ‘practice makes perfect’, by rehearsing
several times, you will automatically gain confidence, and you will not make
mistakes during the Personal Interview.
So, maintain your poise and
convince the interviewer that you are up to the MBA challenge. Once you clear
the Personal Interview, you will be one step closer to becoming a successful
business leader.
