DI or Data Interpretation is the section which is almost common section to all MBA entrance exams including CAT 2012. The genesis of this test is that since a
Manager has to analyze data in professional life so analytical mind would be
suitable and is required hence; Data Interpretation is a section to test you on
analyzing data and decision making capability.
Data Interpretation and Data Sufficiency are two basic ingredients of DI section in
CAT. In data interpretation you need to
analyze data from graphs, charts and
tables whereas you need to solve problems from logical puzzles in data
sufficiency.
Data Interpretation
can’t be learned instantly, it requires immense practice so be ready for
practice sessions till you are successful and achieve mission CAT 2012.
