MBA aspirants who are aspiring to appear in CMAT exam should
note that CMAT notification has come out and CMAT exam will be conducted by National Testing
Agency on 28th January, 2019 whereas registration date will be ending
on 30th November, 2018 hence, aspirants need to hurry up now.
CMAT 2019 will be conducted in two shifts that is First
Shift 09:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Second Shift 02:30 p.m. to 05:30 p.m.And you can
opt for any of the shift. CMAT exam will be computer based test.
If you are having bachelor’s degree in
any of the discipline but on the pattern of 10 +2+3 , you are eligible for
coming CMAT. Even those who are appearing in final year are also are eligible but
you have to give proof of your eligibility period set by institute. The student should be citizen of India and
there is no age bar to appear in CMAT.
CMAT pattern will be of four sections
namely Quantitative Techniques and Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning,
Language Comprehension and General Awareness.
Each of these sections will comprise of 25 questions. Marks allotted to each section will be 100
that mean each question will be of 4 marks and for any wrong answer 1 mark will
deducted thus negative marking makes CMAT tougher than perceived.
General Awareness section in CMAT exam
will be crucial because this section is extra as compared to other MBA entrance exams. There fore in this GK section, you might be asked questions in areas of
sports, economy, current affairs which are happening in India but Global also.
Thus it is important for you to remain updated through newspapers and latest
news.
Language comprehension section needs
to be tackled more properly because RC in this section can be differentiator.
In absence of vocabulary, you might get in to trouble to answer the questions.
Data Interpretation will be different than
predicted in the context that you might get more of pie charts and table to interpret
data to give the right answers therefore better be prepared to analyze the data
before you answer.
