On the scale
of 10 how much would you like to give score to yourself? Be alarmed either it
can be zero or ten because you can’t say that you are this much honest and that
much you aren’t. So either you are honest or not honest on your own parameters.
Positive
feelings come from being honest about yourself and accepting your personality,
and physical characteristics.
One isn't
necessarily born with courage, but one is born with potential. Without courage,
we cannot practice any other virtue with consistency. We can't be kind, true,
merciful, generous, or honest.
Being busy
does not always mean real work. The object of all work is production or
accomplishment and to either of these ends there must be forethought, system,
planning, intelligence, and honest purpose, as well as perspiration. Seeming to
do is not doing.
Let us raise
a standard to which the wise and honest can repair; the rest is in the hands of
God.
